How do the Canadian Rangers travel across the North?

- By submarine
- Only by commercial airline
Answer: By snowmobile in winter and all-terrain vehicle in summer
The Canadian Rangers are part of the Canadian Forces Reserves (militia). Using indigenous knowledge and experience, they travel by snowmobile in winter and all-terrain vehicle in summer, from Resolute to the Magnetic North Pole. They play a key role in meeting the North’s security and sovereignty challenges and keep the flag flying in Canada’s Arctic.
